It’s been a sad week here at New Normative. As I’m sure you’re all aware… we’ve been banned from N4G. Good old N4G, the “Hottest Game News and Rumors” site. I know it’s a tragedy, but it’ll be okay, because our N4G friends can still find us here.
With this in mind, we’d like to take the time to get back to our N4G readers and answer some pressing comments left on our much loved articles. We’d never leave you all hanging.

Now onto Johndoe11211’s cancerous comment, we think you may be slightly confused about what that word means. Websites cannot contract nor spread cancer, being made of code and light and all. We recommend you read up on the differences between human biology and computer viruses, as it’s actually very interesting.

When the FPS for “Everyone” Goes Pro

I understand our articles can often be written in a complex way, so I’ll try to summarize the article in layman’s terms.
Here’s the dictionary definition of the word ‘everyone:’
So when we say ‘everyone’ we mean, every player regardless of skill. The pros often have a wad of games to choose from, so to have a game like Overwatch that was supposed to include both pros and non-pros, the new changes to the game made things a little less accessible to this ‘everyone’ we speak of.

Battlefield 1’s Diversity Failure Ignores History

It’s okay, take a deep breath and let out all that anger. You’ll feel better once you have a drink of tea, open your computer, and do a little fact checking.
I’ll give you a freebie and let you in on some history though. There were tons of women who fought and worked in WWI. Since society also tends to focus most on European and American WWI history, we often forget about who fought in countries like Russia, Turkey, and many more nations. So making a diverse game would in fact be a more historically accurate game.
The game is also inaccurate in other ways too, for example the MP18 Bergmann used in the game did not historically come with a bayonet lug. And it mustn’t be that well-known as there was no outcry from gamer history buffs when that weapon popped up. Which is a shame as we really do need more quality bayonet representation in games too.
Now, onto the feminazi portion of your comment. This is where more research comes in very handy as the nazi party didn’t exist until WW2, let alone fem(ale)nazis. If this is still confusing you then I highly recommend you check out this article on the difference between the two wars.
Also don’t worry, you don’t have to shoot us in the face if you don’t feel comfortable. We’re a team of great players so chances are we’ll be doing most of the killing. Don’t worry, we’ve got this!
Butterfly Soup: The Bisexual Visual Novel We’ve Been Waiting For

Isn’t it so fun that every protagonist in the game is a girl? It makes such a difference from the average male-led video game, I know! So cool. Thanks for pointing that out as it really needs to be celebrated more.
I’m sorry you didn’t get to see the m/m representation you wanted, but you should check out Dream Daddy, Amnesia: Memories, and Code Realize for that as they’re great visual novels that have awesome gay characters.
Unfortunately the game isn’t safe at all, I will say that. People are still being killed for being gay even in our own backyards, parents are still abusing their LGBT+ children. So there are tons of people who will get a lot of shit for having a game like this.
Nothing safe about death.
That being said it is very safe for work: Sex doesn’t factor in the game at all so if you’re not into that kind of thing Cy, then you’re in luck! The game is also not made by a pervy cishet male game dev so you’re extra lucky there.
P.S. Nice Fallout icon, Frakistan. Such a great game full of so many bisexuals!
